An intimate wagyu experience at Chophouse

 

 

Join us for an exclusive evening hosted by Matt Moran, celebrating the award-winning Sher Wagyu from Victoria — one of Australia’s most revered Wagyu producers, renowned for its exceptional marbling, flavour and consistency.

 

 

Held in The Hideaway at Chophouse, this intimate dinner is limited to just 40 guests and showcases the pinnacle of Australian produce and craftsmanship.

 

 

The evening begins on the terrace with freshly shucked oysters, Sher Wagyu tartare, and a glass of Louis Roederer Champagne on arrival, before moving into the Hideaway for a shared dining experience curated by Matt Moran and the Chophouse culinary team. The menu pays homage to the richness and depth of Sher Wagyu, featuring Moran Family Charcuterie, Sher 9+ Full Blood Striploin, and F1 7+ Rib Eye on the Bone — each dish a celebration of quality, technique and flavour. Throughout the night, guests will also have access to rare large-format wines poured from the Chophouse v-canter, including standout vintages from Yalumba, Handpicked and Kaesler.
